Located along the scenic Malibu coast, Big Heart Ranch is a unique working sanctuary and wellness center dedicated to trauma-informed, equine-assisted healing and farm animal rescue. The ranch provides a peaceful, structured environment where a herd of rescued horses, donkeys, and other farm animals partner with therapists and educators to facilitate emotional recovery and mindfulness programs for the local community. To maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for the animals and program participants, the facility operates strictly by appointment only for all public visits, private healing sessions, and volunteer opportunities.
